Our Community
The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Brockton, MA is under the jurisdiction of the Metropolis of Boston and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and faithfully under the canonical jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.
In 2016 our Community formally celebrated 100 Years of existence in Brockton. The Culmination of our year long celebration was a Gala Event in November of 2016, our Father and Hierarch, Metropolitan Methodios of Boston lead the evenings events together with Fr. Anthony Evangelatos and Fr. John Kiramarios.
The Mayor of Brockton and several other city officials were in attendance as well as the Consul General of Greece in Boston.
Archbishop Demetrios Geron of America greeted the Gala via a video message specially prepared for the evening.
The cherised memebers of our Community and many friends and invited guests watched the video below for the first time. Produced by the 100 Year Media Committee the full version – Annunciation Brockton: The Frist 100 Years 1916 – 2016 was distributed to all in attendance on DVD.
